'Love will save the world' is a phrase that everyone has probably heard before. But what do people mean by it? If love is capable of saving the world, then it must have incredible power. Does this mean that love contains something great, even something that cannot be explained? Sonnets, symphonies, poems, books and films have all been written about love. In their search for a life partner, everyone strives for true, mutual love. In relationships, we hope to find that spark of sincere love deep within us, and when we do, life seems to unfold as if by magic. It feels as if the magic of sincere love and understanding gives life meaning. Everyone understands love differently. Just as everyone sees and perceives the world differently. Perhaps sincere love and understanding enter a person's life naturally, rather than by chance.
The word 'love' often evokes the idea of romantic love. When someone is in love, their heart beats in unison with their beloved's. An irresistible attraction, sympathy, understanding, warmth and harmony develop between them. These feelings are like something from a fairy tale, because to people in love, the world seems like a magical place where nothing is impossible and there are no barriers. The magic of sincere love and understanding shines through in genuine relationships because they are founded on true love. Such love is not based on games or pretence for the sake of profit or material goods. There is no division into 'right and wrong', no lies and no flattery in such love. It comes from the depths of the heart — the centre of the human soul. True love knows no boundaries because the human soul is boundless and omnipresent. So how can we tell if a person is experiencing true or false love?
Love is not a simple matter, so it is worth understanding the difference between sincere and insincere love. Humans live in a world of duality, which implies the existence of opposites. Consequently, the human mind is conditioned to distinguish between 'dark' and 'light', 'bad' and 'good', 'love' and 'non-love', and so on. The world is understood through comparison, and the ‘false self', that small separate 'I' that does not belong to the true nature of human beings, also participates in this process. Seeing the world through the eyes of the ego makes a person feel isolated from others and life itself. Identifying with the 'false self' can result in a person being unable to recognise or give true love. For such a person, the magic of sincere love and understanding is only found in the plots of films and books. A false identity prevents a person from allowing true love, which comes from the source of life and the vast expanses of the universe, to flow through them. Such a person cannot hear their heart and therefore cannot understand their soul, which is guided by the ego and false identification. Initial feelings of sympathy for another person become distorted over time as ego programmes are activated, carrying low vibrations of conflict, disagreement, resentment, arrogance and pride. In such relationships, the magic of sincere love and understanding turns into a constant struggle for leadership and primacy between partners.
True, sincere love is the state of God. The source of life and all worlds constantly pours out creative energy from which creations are born in the cosmos. The greatness of this process is revealed to humanity on the path to eternity, where the multifaceted nature of the Creator is known. This process represents the knowledge of the highest state of life: love. Every person's soul originated from a single soul in the cosmos — the soul of the Creator Himself. This means unity. Sincere love pours out through an open soul. A person who experiences the flow of divine love sees the world differently to someone who identifies with a false sense of self. This flow represents an eternal, unbreakable connection with the source. Like a ray of sunlight, a person continues the nature of the Higher Mind and manifests a state of sincere love as a continuation of the source. At the same time, a sense of floating, lightness, joy, elation and fulfilment arises. The breath of life is felt in every gust of wind, every rustle of leaves and every movement of sea waves. This state resembles the magic of life, something incomprehensible. However, magic can be explained. This lightness and elevation is a manifestation of the highest vibration of love. When we are in unity with the source of life, all of its manifestations — the oceans, the wind, nature, the animal and plant worlds, and humanity — become inseparable from each other. It is from this state that the magic of sincere love and understanding is born.
When a person is filled with pure and true love, their physical body, subtle bodies, consciousness and soul radiate a high frequency of vibration. This high vibration can work wonders in a person's life, as nothing is impossible for the higher cosmic consciousness. Gradually, the awareness of oneself as an inseparable part of a single creation opens up a deep understanding of life's processes. Perceiving the world through the lens of 'separateness' becomes unnatural; a person perceives the world as the Creator does — as one continuous flow of life. When truth is established in a person's consciousness, they see the source and single creator in themselves and others, because humanity is His creation and His children. Awareness of unity with life enables a person to understand, accept and forgive. Understanding others helps a person to understand themselves. No one on a person's path is accidental. What a person expresses reflects who they are. Love begets only love. The magic of sincere love and understanding lies in the fact that when a person does good deeds for others, they share love and understanding with them and sow the seeds of divine love and truth in their consciousness. When these seeds sprout and bear new fruit in the form of love and understanding, the world is transformed.
In human understanding, magic refers to unnatural and supernatural phenomena characterised as miracles, but the original meaning of 'magic' is 'to be able' or 'to be capable'. As human beings are the creation of the Creator Himself, the highest creative states are also hidden in human nature. The main task is to manifest these in practice. This is how the magic of life is realised — by manifesting higher divine states and qualities in relationships with others. The magic of sincere love and understanding reveals the power of the Creator within oneself. One should ponder whether there exists anything that the Creator of the entire universe is incapable of doing.
